
Next-Generation True® UTV Dual Battery Kit with Dual Display Volt Meter
The new updated True® UTV dual battery kit now includes a single meter with dual displays. The new voltage gauge is the same diameter but will measure just over 1” in thread depth so it needs a little more room behind the surface but is also able to be mounted in a much thicker material.
Like the original meters, it is a 36mm waterproof/shockproof digital LED voltmeter that allows you to keep real-time track of what’s happening with your charge status on each individual battery. Conveniently True® has included all the necessary peripheral items for installation of the True UTV dual battery kit including those necessary to make sure the meters turn on and off with the ignition.

DIY-Friendly Installation
The meter can mount anywhere you have a flat surface that can be drilled with a 29mm (1-1/8”+) hole. The True® dual battery isolator kit includes 8 ft. of duplex wire, a relay socket, and all the cable end connectors needed for a complete install. The only connectors you will need is to connect the power and ground wires to the appropriate sources. See the additional pictures or download the instructions for more information.

I received the prepackaged kit, but the 18″ 6 ga positive cable was missing!
Really? Who examines the kits? Also, although it doesn’t really matter, a company’s attention to detail tells me a lot about them.
The instructions explain how to connect the blue and green wires to the batteries and according but the dual battery diagram in their directions displays colors that are completely different from the ones of the batteries that are designated. Please avoid confusion. It’s terrible that I can’t even connect the battery isolator without buying my own cable right away.
Check to see if they can send me the missing component by overnight! Received the missing part the next day.

The positive cables ought to be the same length and able to extend halfway across the widest UTV on the market.
The negative wire is the same, if not somewhat longer.
Increase the size of the isolator’s mounting holes.
If the isolator cannot be found in a dry place, it should be a sealed unit. My particular one is in one that won’t get wet.
Having said that, it is a superb gadget and when it functions as it should, I would have no problem spending money on those small modifications.

Simple to install. I ended up adding a battery disconnect and discovered that manufacturing wires is really simple. I constructed my own 4 gage wire crimping tool, but the auto parts store can also make custom lengths/terminal ends. Be cautious with the red plastic terminal covers… I broke one when tugging too hard on it.
