Q: Question on the mounting how did you mount the battery

A: It is under the drivers seat and I used 1/2” 4×8 foam and cut pieces to shim around it for a tight fit. The cables just run from the isolater under the hood by the factory battery under the floor boards then up to the battery.

Q: Great job,  Can you share what type and size of battery isolator you are using? Any other special parts that are needed?

A: This is the isolator I used ‘True UTV-SBI-15 Smart Isolator for UTVs‘ and I bought red and black 6 gauge welding/battery cable 20’ long and my own cables out of them. With a odyssey extreme pc535 battery,

Q: How did you tie your accessories into the secondary battery? Did you do it under the hood? I didn’t see any other leads on the secondary battery you showed.

A:  I added a fuse bar under the hood and ran it all to that.

Q: I have a 2016 Yamaha Viking EPS FI however, under the driver seat I don’t have a battery box. Instead there is some sort of removable round port door (which leads to a vacant cavity). Did you purchase the battery box and install it? If so, where? Nice video, I appreciate it

A:  The compartments under the seats can be moved around, I have the large compartment under my front middle seat, the one with the water tight round lid under my rear left seat and you can buy more “trays” to make it custom for your machine from Yamaha.
